Palm Sunday
With much enthusiasm, the lay faithful of the Chaplaincy of
Annunciation, Our Lady of Schools Anyigba, Kogi State joyfully rejoiced
as they mark another account of the annual celebration of Christ's
Royalty.
The ceremony which began at an early hour of 7:30am (UTC: +1) from a
Members residence (Mr. Cyril Igata), started with an opening prayer led
by Rev. Msgnr. John Iyere and assisted by Very Rev. Fr. Felix
Adejoh and Samson Adejoh (acting chaplain) was a very blissful one in which palms brought for the celebration of Christ's Royalty were blessed hence to be used during the next year's Ash Wednesday beginning the Lenten Season. The congregation marched round a specified routine to the church (temple) where the whole ceremony were to be concluded with mass.

At the mass, Rev. Msgnr. John led the sermon in which he described each
scenario from Christ's Royalty to his Crucifixion, death and
resurrection.
Conclusively, the congregation departed with a calm heart filled with
thoughts either for good or worse (hmmmn who knows). Personally I felt
blessed because That's where I worship (hahahaha), seriously I'm proud
to be a Catholic, you should too...
